Notes from the Board

We are making plans for our annual meeting of the ASPNC membership on March 12th. This will be a combination annual meeting and member / volunteer / participant appreciation gathering. Details will follow soon.

We are in full swing preparing for the Pirates of the High Skis! This is our big annual winter fundraiser, please come out and support this great event.

The board will be at its annual retreat on Saturday, March 26th at the AMC’s Joe Dodge Lodge in Pinkham Notch. This is where we look at both short and long term goals. If anyone has any thoughts on things we might consider in our short and long term planning please let Sandy know. Your input is welcome and appreciated.

Fundraising is on track with last year but this is always a focus for our group as without it we do not operate. If you are not already a member we ask that you join us. Please also consider asking your friends to join and support our mission and community as a member as well.  There are some great benefits along with knowing your membership donations support all the great programs ASPNC offers throughout the year.

Thank you for your continued support,
Jeff Woodward, President
ASPNC Board of Directors

X Games Update

ASPNC’s own Chris Devlin-Young beat out the pack in the qualifying round by more than a second and was leading the pack by a healthy margin in the Semi Finals before suffering a binding pre-release and crash. Best wishes to Chris in his recovery!

In the meantime, please enjoy this clip of Chris giving X Games host Victoria Arlen a Mono Ski lesson shown on ESPN:
