Warm Weather Programs

Biking

A variety of two-wheeled bicycles, three-wheeled recumbents, adaptive children’s bikes and handcycles are among the fleet of bikes that make this program a great option for children and adults of varying abilities. Group rides and private sessions take place on the Littleton Rail Trail in the summer and around Franconia Village in the spring and fall. Other locations are available upon request.

Garden Buddies

Garden Buddies: Promoting Healthy Communities. Participants engage in all aspects of creating a garden from choosing seeds, planning the plot, fertilizing, planting the seeds or seedlings, watering, nurturing, and of course picking and enjoying the vegetables and herbs. During each session volunteers bring healthy snacks, incorporating fruits, vegetables and herbs from the garden whenever possible. This snack time provides an opportunity to support good nutrition and to sample new fresh foods.

Golf

This group meets weekly. They work on skills and also have an opportunity to play on the course. Includes volunteer instructors, access to the course and practice area, pull cart or motorized cart if needed. Clubs also available with advance request.  Golfers can compete in the Regional and State Special Olympics Golf tournament.  Contact ASPNC for more details.
