2017 Summer Interns Needed

The intern would be expected to assist the program team with all aspects of organizing and conducting summer programs.

This internship would be well suited for someone who wants to develop skills in outdoor leadership, gain hands-on direct experience in working with people with a wide range of abilities, work with a mostly volunteer non-profit organization, and share their love of the outdoors and their skills with other people.

Qualifications include experience with at least some of our summer activities (hiking, biking, kayaking and canoeing, unified softball, tennis, golf, and gardening), an organized and responsible approach, ability to deal with several projects at the same time, and ability to work as a team member with a variety of types of people.  Previous experience working with people with disabilities would be a plus, but is not required.

The internship would be based at ASPNC’s headquarters in Franconia, NH, but you would frequently be at activities taking place at a variety of venues throughout the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
